Muay Thai Boxing at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium:  The old one!

My connection with Dawn, a travel  and design writer from USA.  Took me to the Lumpinee Stadium last Tuesday night. I’ve been living in Bangkok for almost 4 years and never before got around to see some Muay Thai boxing.

Dawn is, believe it or not,  a former Thai boxer herself, too cool!. Women in Thai boxing? quite rare in the business but there are a few! and I met Dawn. What fascinated me the most was to turn my camera on the spectators. See the enjoyment and pleasure of watching a match. There’s also the  whole gambling scene, which we are not supposed to talk about.  I turned my camera around away from the boxing and found some amazing portraits.
